| Overview: | A genius serial killer named Shin Hyun, who murdered six women, carries a bag and walks into a police station. He dumps the bag over an officer's desk. Mutilated body pieces of a woman fall everywhere.
One year later, at a garbage dump, the bodies of a high school girl and her unborn child are discovered. Detective Mi-yeon, an expert criminal filer and head of the criminal files department in vice squad, and Detective Kang, who uses his animal instincts in investigation, are appointed to this case. In the meantime, another corpse of a pregnant woman is discovered. The detectives feel as if Shin Hyun's past serial murders are related to this case. Detective Kang marks a suspect who once was Shin Hyun's cellmate.
Detective Kang locates the suspect and tracks him down, but fails to stop the suspect committing a cold-blooded murder before his eyes. Kang gets furious and shoots at the suspect who dies on the spot. Shin Hyun's cellmate is branded as the criminal, and the case seems to be closed, but Mi-yeon and Detective Kang don't feel quite satisfied yet. If the crimes are copies of Shin Hyun's serial killings, then there's three left to go.
A few days later, as they expected, the fourth murder occurs. Detective Kang and Mi-yeon consults Dr. Chu, Shin Hyun's psychiatrist in prison. Dr. Chu ambiguously tells them to think of Shin Hyun not as a criminal but as a human being. And Mi-yeon and Detective Kang begins to watch Dr. Chu closely. But when they began to tail her down, she also gets brutally murdered and the case seems to be totally lost in a maze...
