Plot:	Etsuko is inspired after seeing a rowing team gliding through the water. She sets her heart on joining the team at school, but she finds out that it is for boys only. Finally she talks some girls into forming a team, and they head for their first victory.
Overview:	Despondent and alone, Etsuko stands on the seashore and stares out across the waves. In the distance she sees a rowing team gliding through the water. At the moment something sparks inside her. She can't get this image out of her mind and sets her heart on joining the rowing team at the school. However, she finds out that there is no rowing team for girls. Finally she bullies four other girls into forming a team. They pull their oars through the water, heading for their first victory.
