I'd heard many things about "Hit Man", a blaxsploitation remake of "Get Carter", some good and some bad. The film actually falls somewhere between the two. The cynical atmosphere and plot keep things moving, but it takes an awful lot of the running time before the bodycount starts piling up. Though violent, it certainly isn't the sort of action one is used to in these films, most of it is the slaughter of unarmed partygoers. Overall I found the film enjoyable.
