| Part of a four-movie series called "House Of Doom". Initially deemed too graphic for video in the UK, the four films have remained in limbo. The movies were directed by Umberto Lenzi and Lucio Fulci and it comes to no surprise to learn that all four films contain extreme horror and graphic bloodletting. HOUSE OF LOST SOULS is directed by Lenzi who had previously lensed the ultra nasty CANNIBAL FEROX. It's full of typical Italian horror gusto watch for a scene where an unlucky fellow loses his head in a washing machine! Umberto Lenzi is surely one of the true legendary Italian trash directors! |
