The romantic plot of the movie ruined this film.. I find it to be very annoying, and the repeated scene of the treehouse and the guy falling down each time in slow motion was dreadful.

"8 Strikes Of The Wildcat" (Ye Mao Ba Fan)

Great martial arts with a grand gymnastic approach!

Director Simon Chung ("End Of Love") and Lin Yi-Hsiu take this talented martial artist Chi Dan Dan and showcase her to the max in "the unseen lost treasure" that will leave you acrobatically astonished.

The martial arts executed by the actors make Chi Dan Dan's kung fu style stand out in a remarkable way as she delivers a rhythmic performance that should keep an audience enlightened through the whole vengeful tale. Although there are shots created in the editing room to give extra strength to a fighting character, you could easily tell what Chi Dan Dan is doing for real and raw. Most of her action sequences seemed to have no props at all when choreographing (action director and actor Tai Liang Wong) fight scenes on the bare earthly base, and even the training sessions were just as good, leading you up to an unforgettable finale.

This carries some cool comedy elements with a taste of some uncanny characteristics, but something about it may keep you interested in watching it again and again, perhaps Chi Dan Dan is that something special.
