Interesting for being shot in the location that Bruce actually intended to use for the real 'Game of Death'. Everything else about this film though really only has entertainment value for the cheesiness despite some well realised fight scenes.

Plotting seems a bit off to begin with but settles into a story set in 1930's Shanghai. The British governor tasks his aide with retrieving a secret security document. The aide employs the services of Bruce Le (resplendent in yellow tracksuit which was apparently the height of fashion back in the 1930's) who sets off to retrieve the document. The document is held in a safe in a (surprise, surprise) pagoda and Bruce must fight his way up the levels to get to the top.

Adversaries are interesting but quite outside the bounds of reality and nothing like the real 'GOD'. Lee Hoi San makes a welcome appearance on one of the levels. There's also a double nunchaku 'expert' and, strangely, a kung fu master who uses cobras as weapons.

Plenty of Bruce reference points are peppered throughout making the film great cheeky fun but not necessarily a good film.
