| Southern Fist Expert Alexander Lo Rei comes to blows with Northern kicker John Liu when the former suspects the latter of murdering his brother. Realising he has been framed John Liu sets out to uncover the clues that will lead him to the real killer. What the two don't know is that they are being set against each other by criminal mastermind RobertTai who wants to clear the town of its best fighters so that his gang can take over.
The film is certainly not short on action and there is a fight scene nearly every five minutes; and well choreographed ones at that. At times the action meets the very high standards set by Tai himself at Shaw Brothers. Although playing a Southern Fist fighter Alexander Lo Rei still gets opportunity to show off his kicks and John Liu also is no slouch in that department. Robert Tai, as ever, is the perfect all-rounder and makes for an excellent villain. Fast paced and great fun. |
