Soundtrack was suspect, missing a lot of sound effects and grunting.

This version of "Executioner From Shaolin" does have the English speaking dub many were hoping for, but if you have a good memory or can watch the original and this version side by side you can tell that half of the sound gets silenced in many places. Also, at some points, the audio doesn't sync properly with the action, with a noticeable delay. Additionally, there is at least one scene where Pak Mei speaks Chinese and not English, certainly an audio mixing error. However, none of the remastered releases are exactly what fans want, and only the extemely poor DVD quality ones have the right audio.

Image quality is excellent. Much better than I ever expected. Brought back lots of memories of the films from the 70's. Only wish there was a subtitle option. I'll be looking to buy more of these movies.
