Plot:	Contains Episodes 1-50, spread out over 18 discs, packaged in a huge collector's box.
Overview:	In C.E. 70, an economic conflict between the Earth Union and the Z.A.F.T. (Coordinators) resulted in a war. A year later is where the story begins. A neutral resource satellite, Heliopolis, was suddenly attacked by a team of Z.A.F.T.'s mobile suits, Gundam. The mission was almost successful, with four Gundams in Z.A.F.T.'s hands. Kira Yamato, a technical high school student, who got involved in the incident accidentally, met his old friend, Athrun. Contrary to his intentions, Kira made Athrun and the Coordinators enemy. Athrun tries to shoot Kira in the name of justice.
