Picture: A typically strong anamorphic print from Panorama. A few daytime scenes look very slightly dull on close inspection, but the majority of the print is finely detailed and sharp. The colours are realistic and boast a depth that makes them stand out.

Sound: DTS/5.1 Cantonese, 5.1 Mandarin or 2.0 Directors' Commentary with English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese subtitles (removable). The film doesn't really stretch the posibilities of the Dts track; the few moments of action are good, but not particularly varied. Most of the time there are a few attempts at providing atmospheric effects, but there's very little that stands out.

Extras: For a Hong Kong DVD, this is packed with good extras. Firstly there are interviews with the directors and Anthony Wong - note that both of these are subtitled in English! Then there's a series of deleted scenes with a directors' commentary, a 'CIA Forum' (a piece filmed at a film festival with questions from the audience), the Gala Premiere Footage, a Photo Gallery and Filmographies for the two directors (not in english). To top things off, there's a directors' commentary.
