I have been very, VERY disappointed with Takashi Miike lately. Whatever happened to the butt-rape scenes or any of the other left-field garbage that has been put into his films? This film was very stupid, and I mean that in a bad way. The pacing is so slow, I thought I was 89 years old when the film ended. The concept and story were weak and impotent. The combat scenes were abysmal like my butt, and the FX weren't really appealing.

In conclusion: other than "Andromedia", this is Miike's worst film to date. It's a boring, self-indulged piece of whale shit. Only recommended to people who are brain-dead!
