 | | | | After viewing this documentary about the abuses suffered by disenfranchised young women in Ireland at the hands of the Catholic church, I had to wonder where they got the title from. There wasn't much sex in evidence, except for the usually disturbing recounting of abuses by priests and nuns on a bunch of hapless girls--by now an all too familiar story. One more example of why Catholicism just doesn't "work". Apparently originally made for TV, it IS mercifully short at barely 50 mins. For MORE entertaining Catholic high jinks, buy Ken Russel's "The Devils" instead! | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | I have never wanted to write a comment about a film before, but I was so moved by the women in this film, the pain that they went they through, the mental anguish I felt I had to find someone to ask is there any thing I could do to help the ladies? I just felt so close to them all. Thank you for letting me voice my feelings. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
