Plot:	A computer engineer is kidnapped and tortured, becoming a different person afterwards. Investigators refuse to believe that there might be a ghost in the man's body trying to control him. However, they discover something far more horrible...
Overview:	This horror/thriller revolves around a computer engineer who is kidnapped by loan sharks, whereby the police finally locate him strung up inside an abandoned hotel that was the scene of a grumsome murder 30 years before. Apparently, a hotel keeper cut the head off of his wife before poisoning himself and his son. Trying to solve the case, a manic cop played by Tony Leung attempts to solve the case. However he finds the computer engineers behaviour distingrates whereby he begins taking on characteristics of the hotel keeper, whereby the story takes various sharp twists. Is he possessed? Lam keeps you guessing right until the end. Inspired by The Shining by Stanley Kubrick, the film has a creepy and haunting feel that is puncuated with scenes of real horror. The film also features some inspired chase scenes and action, making this is a must by for any Ringo Lam or Hong Kong film fan.
