ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
Directed by Chu Yuan (co-star of Jackie Chan's Police Story), "Duel of the Century" is a martial arts epic. Liu Yung and Sun Chien (Chang Cheh's internationally acclaimed series The Five Venom) team up to investigate their close friend, a wounded swordsman, who has challenged another man to a duel. However, through their investigation the men find more than they bargain for including deception, double-dealings, imposters, and one deadly duel after another.
"Duel of the Century" is one of the last collaborations between Director Chu Yuan and famed Chinese wuxia novelist Ku Lung for Shaw Brothers Studio. |
