| Overview: | During the later stage of World War II, a seriously wounded American airplane was forced to land near the Great Wall. A squad of the 8th Route Army rescued the American pilot; thus he was escorted by squad to go to the liberated area.
On their way to the liberated area, they encountered a series of thrilling events. Through these events, the film depicted the conflicts amount different characters and their mutual spiritual understandings.
The pilot saw with his own eyes the unyielding national spirit of the Chinese people in facing the cruel aggressor, thus expelling his prejudice against the Chinese people and the 8th Route Army.
