ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
A blind widow has led her two children, Nankung Ching and Nankung Lin, through many hardships since they are driven out of their manor by Tu Lung and Tu Tien-piao. One evening, Ching takes prompt action and finally kills Lung. Lawman Yen, well-known for his fast sword, calls on the Nankung family. A clash between Ching and Yen looks unavoidable. When Yen is about to take his prisoner away the next morning, Tien-piao's men arrive to take revenge on Ching. But Yen insists on giving Ching a fair trial at court. One of the Tien-piao's lead fighters, comes up with a dirty trick. He abduct Chings' mother. Ching gives himself up, and leaves with Lai. Yen and Lin find out the old woman is already stone dead. They confront Tien-piao at his stronghold. A few days later, Ching and his supporters slay Tien-piao in a hectic fight. |
