This is a "cute" Sammo Hung movie. It seems aimed towards a PG-13 audience, but offers some humor for adults. (albeit childish humor)The basic story is that Sammo is a drunken gambler who thinks he can give his child a better life by returning to fighting. Sammo does offer up some good fighting, but if that's what you're looking for you should just buy one of his action movies. One interesting note is that Sammo does some Drunken Master. Nothing extensive but nice to see none the less. Unfortunately the comedy/fighting wears thin towards the end. The first hour or so is fun if you like bizarre comedy with a dash of action. |
