Plot:	Faced with financial problems having to look after his girlfriend, Kuo-Liang gambles and is cheated by a swindler. The hot-headed Kuo-Liang tries to exact revenge and his actions leave him in a final face-off with his detective father.
Overview:	Jimmy Wang Yu ("The One-Armed Swordsman") gets to flex his dramatic muscle in this Lo Chen drama. Wang plays Kuo-Liang, a detective's son who seems to have little or no interest in anything but Mei Lin (Margaret Hsing Hui). Faced with financial problems having to look after Mei Lin and her sister, Kuo-Liang gambles and is cheated by a swindler. The hot-headed Kuo-Liang tries to exact revenge and his actions leave father and son in a final face-off.
