If you love the TV series, then you will enjoy the movie too. The movie doesn't really have a big-budget movie feel to it--basically a feature length TV episode with both Nakama Yukie and Abe Hiroshi reprising their respective roles as Naoko and Ueda respectively. That said, it still contains the same great sense of humour from the TV series. Nogiwa Yoko steals the show as Naoko's mother.
