The print is cropped on the sides from its original 1.85:1 aspect ratio and suffers from moderate degradation and moderately low resolution. Colors and contrast are harsh, but appear to be the fault of the art direction and not the transfer. The original Cantonese track is missing, while the Mandarin track is adequate. Imbedded English subtitles are missing throughout the dialogue scenes during the opening credits, but appear for the rest of the film. They contain a few grammar errors and can be slightly difficult to read. |
