Plot:	After superstar Anita leaves her manager, he retaliates by signing one of her backup singers and molding him into a superstar as well, just to show Anita that she needs him more than he needs her. Overview:	Jannie (Anita Mui) is determined to leave her manager, James (James Wong), who turns a blind eye to her affection. James was being humiliated by Jannie's new manager, May, he decided to groom Russell into an idol. At the beginning, Russell was blinded by vanity. Gradually, with guidance from James, he attained the craft of singing. Russell was deeply in love with Dionne and she's pregnant. In a conversation with James, Dionne misunderstood that her pregnancy would jeopardize Russell's career. Russell's mad with James at Dionne's intention to have an abortion. In his successful concert, Russell was overwhelmed with joy of seeing Dionne. Clearing the misunderstood, Russell apologized to James and still wants James to be his manager. James was so happy and excited that he proposed to Jannie.
