Leung is once of the top undercover cops in Hong Kong. The one thing he hates the most is swindlers. He is assigned to arrest Ferrari, a top gambler who is planning to steal billions of dollars from some of the top executives in Hong Kong. However, there is just one little problem: he can't gamble!!! So, his girlfriend, Pizza, asks her brother-in-law, Wong Si Fu, to train him. Wong is nicknamed the King of Gamblers because of his extensive background in swindling. After some convincing, Wong is enlisted to help Leung against Ferrari and stop him from succedding in his evil scheme.

OK, let's see, what was wrong with this film? Well, Steven Chow didn't do much in this film. He doesn't really do any of his trademark faces or goofs. He just gambles a lot and has one big kung fu fight, acting like Bruce Lee. Nick Cheung, who many will know as Dragon 9 from The Duel, tries to make the audience laugh. He does in some occasion (his Matrix-sppof of dodging bullets and his TV striptease), but it's just not Chow-like. Plus, we are stuck with two major annoyances of the characters Pizza and Madame Wong. They will just make you get sick of them and have you screaming at the TV, pointing to the two and screaming, "Shut Up". On the other hand, you have the very beautiful and sensual Kelly Lin as rogue who at first assists Leung then betrays him, not to mention embarrass him. Director and screenwriter Wong Jing is the main villain of the piece, Ferrari. I think he purposely wrote the other characters to be stupid or annoying and him to be smart. How rechid!!!! But you know what? I give the film the rating I did, because I'm a Steven Chow fan, but don't expect much.
