| "Lemon Cola" is not the typical teen/romance flick, although all the drama and romance, the bittersweet storyline, the pretty boy lead actor and cute lead actress are all there. there's something special in this movie that the audience can relate to and empathize with. Unlike anything in other movies. the meticulously planned storyline was a little too fast-paced, but effective nonetheless. It was able to show, very vividly, the ups and downs of teen life, like teacher-student relationships, teen romance between the lead roles of a combined school play, late-night parties with lots of drinks and drugs.
However, the storyline might be a little unsatisfactory for the teenage audience, because it isn't your typical fairytale ending. but think about it a little, maybe sleep on it for a few nights, and you'll find that it's doubtlessly the best ending the plot can offer; any other ending, and the story will lose its specialness, becoming just another typical teen/romance flick. |
