Picture: A superb anamorphic print that has a very impressive range of colours. The contrast is high while skin-tones are natural and never too soft. The outdoor, day-time scenes look particularly sharp with sharp, well-defined colours and no problems with over-saturation.

Sound: DTS Cantonese, 5.1 Cantonese or Mandarin soundtracks with English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese subtitles (removable). The DTS track adds a bit more oomph over the usual 5.1 track. DTS sound is vibrant when the soundtrack plays, but average during dialogue scenes. A few good ambient effects add some depth to the crowd scenes and marketplace scenes though.
