A wonderful evocation of a time (1912-1930) when Lawrence, his wife Frieda (Suzman), and assorted friends and supporters traveled to America, Mexico, and Europe in search of peace and inspiration following the banning of his books and paintings. The authorities could ban his writing and painting, but his genius was never meant to be hidden.
