| This movie was F-U-N-N-Y!!!
This movie was nice surprise. Hunky Lo Meng's dreams come true when the girl he is attracted to comes knocking on his door one night to let him know that she wants to be with him. You don't have to tell this boy twice. Next thing you know they are living together, he goes out trying to get a steady job to take care of him and his 'wife'. He ends up working for a low down, dirty rotten, bully of man who spies on his workers and looks for any reason at all to fire them. When Lo Meng gets fired, Liu Lan Chi (wife) takes matters into her own hands.
There is one segment that had me laughing so hard, at one point I had tears in my eyes. It involved a run-in with a beggar who is just sitting down to a nice bowl of dog meat when Lo Meng chases the man (his ex-boss) that he thinks is having an affair with his 'wife' into the beggar's path. I'm not sure, but I think the beggar was played by Chu Ko, one of the so called 'Baby Venoms'. It was hard to tell because he was in heavy make-up, but I'm pretty sure it was him.
This movie was a nice change of pace from the other films I've seen with Lo Meng. This film shows there is more to him than just being a hunky Venom. Oh, and there are a lot of bare butts in this one. Lo Meng doesn't bare his (his character does, but it is obviously a double); and the two leads made a cute on-screen couple. Go for it folks, this is a fun one. |
