A decent thriller with a semi-exploitative, but nevertheless fairly original plot. Great little movie if you like this sort of thing. |

| Overview: | Veronica Yip plays the wife of heart surgeon Dr Jack Ng, who leaves for a conference in Macau while she suffers temporary blindness. Sam Chu ingratiates himself into the household in order to avenge the seduction and death of his wife, for which Dr Jack appears responsible. Sam defends his new territory from a swaggering burglar and a cop who is the boyfriend of their maid May. Eventually, the rather wimpy Mrs. Ng stops depending on others to rescue her and discovers her inner strength and aggression, and uses it to triumph. She also realizes the lack of control in her life until now, perhaps setting things up for a sequel.
