Plot:	When 13-year-old Thomas steals an old eastern knife and threatens his mother with it, he is sent to boarding school. Here he starts beginning to understand his own past and how to take steps towards being an adult.
Overview:	It's a hard life for 13-year-old Thomas. He notices how his mother has a casual affair with an old friend of his deceased father. He is discovering feelings which he didn't know before for a girl named Toni. On a exhibition he steals an old eastern knife, which is fascinating him. He tries to impress Toni with it. This knife is also at the center of his difficult relationship with his mother and her boyfriend. After he threatens his mother with the knife, he is sent to boarding school. Here he starts beginning to understand his own past and how to take steps towards being an adult.
