Hwang Jang Lee is great, there's just not enough of him in this movie. Mix in some lame comedy and bad dubbing and you have a subpar movie. Two stars only for Lee's performance.

[NOTE: This review refers to the English-dubbed US DVD by Ground Zero.] This is a must-have for those who like laughable dubbed soundtracks, much sampled by hip-hop masters Depth Charge this movie is classic cheese. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. I hardly stopped laughing from beginning to end.

NOTE: This review refers to the English-dubbed DVD released in the USA by Ground Zero.

Although he is the villian, prepare to see Hwang Jang Lee at his best. He does every great kick in the book, including the patented flying triple kick. His dub voice sounds like Skeletor from the 80's He-Man cartoons. That could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste, but you can't call yourself a martial arts movie fan without this in your collection. GO GET IT!!!

BADBADBADBADBAD!!!! Even for a kung-fu flick this movie is BAD!! It looks bad, the acting is bad, the fighting is so-so. The only reason I give this a rating of 0.5 is that the fellow playing Silver Fox is renown for his superb precision kicking skills. Unfortunately, we don't get a whole lot of that and that's a shame because when he does go into action he's a sight to behold. Avoid this movie!! One last note: most of the voices are dubbed with different local British accents!

Hwang Jang Lee is the Silver Fox, a deadly warlord who is known for his high-kicking prowess. His mission is to retrieve secret messages from other clans so that he can rule the land. One day, he has a man named Lee killed along with his son, who had the secret message. It turns out there was a foul-up and Lee's son, So was still alive. Angered by this, Silver Fox decides to go on with his life. So returns a year later after training from a monk who saved him and decides it's time to get even with the Silver Fox. He finds a young pickpocket who turns out one, is a girl and two, their families got them together as they are to be married. They find an old beggar who turns out to be the friend of the monk who trained Lee So. The Silver Fox, finding out time and again that someone has been killing his henchmen, discovers that So is responsible. The two later wage a battle in a fight to the death.
