This movie was interesting. It really didn't get good until the end with the Cripple Fist technique. Not my favorite movie, but kinda' interesting.

This movie was okay, nothing really great to say about it but nothing really bad to say about it either. This type of movie is always interesting (disabled kung fu), but the kung fu in this one is just average.

While not a classic by any means, this kung fu flick does have its good points. The plot is basically first a clan leader gets crippled and walks the earth in misery. Then the clan that crippled the leader long ago, begins to cripple others that interfere in their dirty business of pestering a young girl. One is blinded of course and another is made deaf and dumb. Also, a man has his arm cut off. So, the three crippled guys end up helping each other but are rather useless until...the wandering crippled clan guy wanders into their camp. Eventually training them in kung fu and also by amazing coincidence kung fu for cripples and a SPEACIAL kung fu for FOUR crippled guys! The movie is the usual training for revenge and some twists that do require watching. A more superior movie about crippled fighters was made by the famous Shaw brothers studio called Crippled Avengers/Mortal Combat and was released on video and DVD as Return of the 5 deadly venoms. This movie is also far better than the "Crippled Masters" which showed actual crippled men(one has no arms the other no legs). As with the Return of the 5 deadly venoms, this is a movie about buddies teaming together as underdog fighters and not only overcoming their own weaknesses but helping each other and defeating a seemingly tough bad guy. Again, no classic but far better than some fighter flicks out there. Give it a try.
