| Overview: | A Chinese patriot is arrested by a corrupt government official and sent to prison, presumably to rot there. But this is no ordinary man. He spends his time watching the wildlife outside his prison window, especially the monkeys. He begins to notice that the primates have an interesting way of defending themselves. Secretly, he begins to train himself in the ways of monkey combat.
The lead role is played by real-life monkey kung fu master Chan Sao Chung, who is the world's best. The story for "Monkey Fist" is based on the real life of Koo Sai, who was actually imprisoned and did study the fighting habits of primates. This was Master Chan Sao Chung's first starring role, and he also did the authentic fight scenes. Monkey Fist is a very unique and rare film.
