Excellent action suspense thriller staring Lily Ho of "Intimate Confession..." fame. Would bookend end will with "Zero Woman: Red Handcuffs". May not please fans of the more modern hyperactive spy thrillers like the "Bourne" movies, but fans of the old James Bond films will really enjoy this film. In fact in a few of the musical numbers you can pick out a few famous James Bond riffs. I really liked how Lily Ho wasn't out to settle a personal grudge for most of the movie, she was blackmailed into doing all this and it snowballed from there. I think too many movies take the easy road and go for the "They Killed My [Fill in the Blank] Now It's Time For Revenge". Definitely my second favorite Lily Ho movie, right behind "Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan". |
