Lily Ho plays a reluctant killer in this 1971 HK-actioner.

Ho stars as Ge Tianli, the manager of the Rose Cafe. When her father is murdered by gangsters, she takes the law into her own hands and avenges his death, but she runs into a bit of bad luck as a by-standing low life photographs her in the act.

Instead of turning her in, he blackmails her making her life miserable.

When an ex-con turns state's evidence and agrees to testify in a notorious smuggling and racketeering case, a price is put on his head. Tianli's blackmailer cashes in and forces her to take the job.

The plot twists when, rather than pay her, her employers sabotage her car and try to kill her.

I thought the most amusing aspect of this film was Lily Ho's character, Ge Tianli. A reluctant killer, she seemed more incensed by the audacity of her employers to kill her rather than pay her.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and Ge Tianli epitomizes this cliche. Set on a rampage for revenge, she kills and kills and kills again, following a trail of bread crumbs that lead her to the top of a criminal empire.

At the climax of the film, Lily Ho dresses up as a nun to perform her final deed.

I found myself enjoying this film far more than it deserved to be enjoyed. For having a rather shallow plot, something about this film made it fun. Maybe it was the '70s or maybe because Lily Ho is just so damn hot!

Unfortunately, for all its lethality, we are treated to bare minimum T & A. There is a brief scene where Lily flees through a ladies' dressing room and that's about it.

The nun scene, while cute, is not the least bit exploitative and all too brief.

...it's...probably a must for Lili Ho fans, but as a nunsploitation film, it doesn't really deserve to be here. It's more of a fun 1970s action flick that just happens to pack a nun in the end.
