Mei Ah presents the film in an aspect ratio of 1.78:1, with anamorphic enhancement. Nothing to complain of here as print is clean, colourful and sharp.

The Cantonese Dolby Digital 2.0 track doesn't set out to veer away too much from the center stage but does present all aspects in a clear manner. Cantonese Dolby Digital 5.1 and Mandarin Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks are also included.

The English subtitles are totally error-free and coherent. Traditional and simplified Chinese subtitles are also available. Standard extras appear in the form of an unsubbed Making Of (7 minutes, 55 seconds), trailers for Good Times, Bed Times, Men Suddenly In Black and Mei Ah's useless Data Bank.

Mei Ah Entertainment Group Ltd. Is known for its no-frills DVDs, but its disc of Good Times, Bed Times carries a surprisingly rich set of bonus features. Of course, it presents the film in widescreen format with Cantonese and Mandarin language tracks in Dolby 5.1 digital surround sound and removable English and Chinese subtitles. The subtitles are decent, too – heaven knows how faithful they are to the original Cantonese, but the grammar is a touch above the humorously mangled English found in some Hong Kong DVDs.

Other extras includes animated menus, onscreen text versions (in Chinese and English) of the plot synopsis and main cast and crew list, an eight-minute making-of featurette (sadly, unsubtitled) and trailers – also unsubtitled – for this film and the intriguing-looking 2003 comedy Men Suddenly in Black, starring Eric Tsang (who directed Aces Go Places and starred in Gen-X Cops), Tony Leung, Sandra Ng and Jordan Chan (Young and Dangerous, Bio-Zombie). A DVD of the film is also available from Tai Seng.
