Though not a brilliant film, it's workmanlike and satisfying. Solid story, performances, and visuals. One of the most likeable things about it for me was that the "secret" behind the horror was something with some emotional immediacy, unlike the empty, narcissistic revenge themes of many movie phantoms.
You may not find it worthy of your "trophy case", but I think you'll find it worthy of a watch.
