Overview:	Towards the end of the second World War, a farmer sets out to find his son, a soldier who he has heard is in the hospital after sustaining serious injuries. Once he arrives at the hospital, he learns his son has been discharged and sent back into battle. So the man tries to locate his son's unit, eventually fighting the Germans alongside the Russians.
