Apparently this DVD is cut compared the Japanese extended version. Here's a list of scenes that we know to be cut:
  1. One of Nobunaga's Samurai cavalry rides past an Iga village women and cuts of her head. The head flies across the screen, with a blood trail.
  2. A love scene between Tsuzura Gohei and Kohagi in the Nara Ryokan.
  3. A love scene between Kazama Gohei and Kisaru in the old house near the Bamboo forest.
  4. A fighting scene where the Koga ninja kill the leader of the Iga ninja.
  5. A fighting scene where Tsuzura Juzo cuts off someone's hand.
  6. At least three other small action scenes and camera angles have been removed
