Classic Woody. Not what I grew up watching. But I tell you...these classics beat the hell out of the crap they put on television now for kids.

The picture is beautiful, showing Walter Lantz at a par with Disney, Fleischer and Warner Bros. in terms of backgrounds, animation and inventiveness. But, like Fleischer, Lantz's greatest weakness is story.
