A Chor Yuen period feature starring Ti Lung. A great cast and great sets as we watch Ti Lung and his society in a quest to restore the Ming Dynasty. Lo Lieh as always gives a great performance as an evil Ching general. The special effects range from wire-fu to Ti Lung's fast action peacock fist technique. Very enjoyable film for Ti Lung and Chor Yuen fans!

This is typical Ti Lung of the period - a noble, highly skilled and thoroughly honest swordsman loyal to the Ming and in rebellion against the Ching dynasty. It isn't really one of his best, but a very worthwhile and enjoyable film. I usually prefer swordsmanship more grounded in reality, but that here is not so outrageous as to be distracting or silly.
