Barking mad movie about a guy who turns into a black oozy superman to seek vengeance against baddies.

It is episodic, with a whiny, unsympathetic hero and poor special effects. But hey--OILY MANIAC!! Am I right?

While not the best of the Shaw Brothers 'Black Magic' movies, it still does a good job entertaining in a weird Spider-Man meets Kolchak the Nightstalker kinda way. Yes the effects are rather week but you really don't expect Lord of the Rings special effects from a mid-70s Shaw Brothers production but I think if you can't get past the man in the rubber suit then this really isn't you kind of movie anyways and frankly save your time. Recommended for people who've already seen and enjoyed such films of Black Magic, Bewitched, or Boxer's Omen.
