A fascinating and engaging story set against the gritty vicinity of the Suzhou River. The direction is a first-person view so it can be nauseating, but the starring actress' charisma can make up for it. Reminiscent of Hitchcock's "Vertigo," and you suddenly go, "Gubba, gubba - WHAT?!
