| The film is about a girl who seeks revenge against five males for raping her and giving her VD. She is conflicted with discontent and disturbia as she seeks help from Lo Lieh's character to teach her kung fu. Now she's on a virulent rampage, stabbing these men in the genitals. WHEEEEEE! What fun!
I found this film to be rather pleasant. The story in this film is actually quite good, even if it's a straightforward vengeance film. Of course, despite the film's good story, it is still an exploitation film. The music made me laugh. The cinematography was hilarious with the hippy repugnance and other modern day attire. The sex scenes were ridiculous. The thought of a woman seeking out her assailants to stab them in the balls was funny, yet disturbing at the same time. Also, playing cards being utililized as weapons was silly. All these things were great and made the film more entertaining than it's worth.
However, if kung fu action is what you seek, then I suggest avoiding this one. There are generally four fight scenes in this film and some desperate escape scenes which could be equivilant towards action, depending on your point of view. Although I found the fights to be good, it won't please a kung fu enthusiast.
This movie will generally please exploitation film fans and, considering I'm one of those fans, I loved this movie to death. |
