A very nice supplement to Vol. 1, this film features a good variety of interviews and backstage footage from Kiss' makeup era, including a behind the scenes look at how the crew sets up for one of their concerts.
Overview:
Kiss was formed in 1972 by guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. The band's cartoon image, Kabuki makeup and the 4th of July stage show concept, was in place from the start, and they began promoting their own hall show in NYC. In 1975 their fourth LP, "Alive", contained their first huge hit, "Rock And Roll All Nite". Until the early '80s, Kiss was unstoppable. In '83 the band stripped away the makeup and celebrated renewed interest. In '96 the original band reformed and took their full costume-makeup-pyro show on the road, resulting in one of the most successful rock tours ever. In this fantastic program, we will take you behind the scenes with one of the most memorable rock bands of all time. With never before seen interviews and behind the scenes footage, fans around the world are sure to love this one of a kind tribute to one of the world's greatest bands!
