| Behind-the-scenes on "Desire" from producer Gary P. Conner: "I have a lot of fond memories of the "Desire" shoot. It features, by Marilyn Chambers' own admission, her very finest acting to date. She plays a Joan Collins-type bitchy actress instead of her usual sweetness and light "Marilyn Chambers character". It also has a very funny Marilyn Chambers love scene. Amy Lynn Baxter is also very good in the lead role of the director. The real director of the movie, Ernie Sauer, wasn't sure that Amy had the acting chops for this role. Amy really worked hard and proved to him and to me that she was right for the role. A lot of people underestimate Amy. Everyone is always dazzled by her beauty -- but she is also one of the smartest comedic actresses around today. And what would a Private Screenings movie be without the girls? "Desire" features the cream of the crop: Barbara Joyce, Carrie McKayan and Heidi Ecklund. All of these girls had worked with us before in either specials or movies and we all had a blast on the set. I highly recommend the director's cut which is the UNRATED version. Take a chance and buy "Marilyn Chambers' Desire". You'll be glad you did." |
