A fun film to watch. Maybe not the best film ever, but still worth watching. The drinking game special feature only makes it more awesome.

I thought it was funny and bizarre. It's got good action scenes, and the guy with the tight, tight short shorts is hilarious. This movie is lighthearted and has a good message about love. It's a cult classic. I am an open-minded individual that found this movie very cheerful and entertaining.

If you like zombies, Guitar Wolf, low budget films, and serious liver damage, this is one of the finest films ever! I must admit, sometimes the pacing is a little off, but that does little to diminish the thrill of seeing Guitar Wolf fighting zombies. This is a delightful B-movie with a positive message about love (and rock and roll) knowing no boundaries. Get some tasty beverages, get a few friends over and turn your brain off and have some fun.

Hell, I liked the movie so much that I came up with the drinking game. I still am amazed at what a great job the guys as Synapse did adding it to the DVD. If you don't enjoy this movie, you must not be drinking.

I love this movie. It is 98 minutes of raw wackiness set to a ripping punk soundtrack. Packed with quirky, characters from a sleazy nightclub manager in the scariest hot pants ever, to the hottest gun dealer in a 60s era knit bikini with belt, to of course Guitar Wolf, who basically spends the movie shooting guns and looking cool. It's in the vein of Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park and Rock n Roll High School but with zombies, UFOs, and guitar pick shurikens. I can see how this could be viewed negatively, namely expecting it to be something other than quirky and funny, but I would urge those who did to give it another try and this time watch it as a punk rock comedy with zombies rather than a movie attempting to behave like a movie.

This answers the primal question: who wins in the battle between rock and roll and the threat of both alien attack and hordes of zombies? Guitar wolf gets what cool is.

I loaned this film to a buddy of mine, and he came back to me and said with a sincere heart, "This is the best [expletive deleted] movie ever made in the history of the Earth." He then became a fan of the band Guitar Wolf and went to see them when they visited Austin, Texas a few years back. (Sadly I hear that Drum Wolf has since passed away.)

Everyone I know who's seen "Wild Zero" raves about it. How can you go wrong with aliens, rock-and-roll, zombies, and large caliber handguns. This movie aims to please, and unlike some other attempts to do so, it holds up to a second or third viewing. Every time I see it I like the nightclub owner even more. He is so perfectly annoying.

The people who deride "Wild Zero" just don't seem to understand movies. This is not supposed to be a masterpiece of cinema. It's supposed to be a low budget horror/romance/rock n roll/comedy movie done with great passion and exuberance. And it suceeds brilliantly.

Of course those who don't like rock and roll are not going to like this movie. Of course those who expect all movies to be deep and artistic and ambiguous are going to hate "Wild Zero". This is not a movie aimed at the intellectual elitists. This is not supposed to be a friggin' Wong Kar Wai flick!!! Accept it for what it is and you might discover a movie with more passion, joy, and energy than any arthouse flick out there. This is for those who aren't ashamed or self conscious to shout cliches like "Rock n Roll" at the top of their lungs!

For the dude who couldn't get past the first twenty minutes, I truly feel sorry for you. If only you could feel what I feel when I watch this movie...

this is the worlds most greatest ever film. you should watch this to learn about the trues of zombie rock and roll love space ufos featuring the band guitar wolf who are a true band and rock maximum evertime.

first 20 minutes are not irritating. you are irritating. their is guitar wolf and exploding head and man dressed in strange hot pants. it is not irritating. it is fantastic absurd!

BEST MOVIE EVER!

What can I say? Where else can you find a movie that satisfies your exploding-heads needs?! Any movie that includes a mixture of rock-stars, 50's posing, an action-chick, a love-with-no-limits story, excessive shouting of "ROCK AND ROLL!", fire, explosions and loads and loads of stupid zombies.....is cool in my books.
