| A truly fun and unique movie. Shu Qi delivers her best acting performance to date--maybe because it's her only good one, but it still was very good. This film is loaded with funny moments, good dialog, and some pretty slick martial arts, as well as a plot and situations that are all over the place yet still keep good cohesion and flow. As always, Simon Yam steals the friggin' show playing a gangster that has the most charisma and style since Tyler Durdin. While there are only really about two fights in the movie, they are very well put together and extremely satisfying. Andy On should probably be more well known than he is just for his martial arts ability and stature. Also because the story keeps a decent momentum it feels more action-packed then it is. If you are a fan of all kinds of Asian cinema I say this is absolutely worth checking out. Quite funny, very entertaining. Thanks for reading, now go egg somebody's house. |
