(Warning: unintelligible and irrational review.)

Wow! What a gargantuan load of crap this film was. First off, this is the most exasperating film I have ever seen. The characterization was mentally deficient. I honest to God wish the people in this movie would succumb. I hated the protangonist because he was obnoxiously lovable. I wish he was raped and killed. I HATE HIM! Though I have an infatuation with Christy Cheung (or whatever her name is), she sucked too.

The story was lame and gay. It's filled with too much buoancy and good natured garbage. Though I have no issue with the concept of happiness, still this film excels in exasperation regarding this benignant retardation.

The only thing worthy of optical assimilation is (of course) kung fu action. However, when it comes to this movie's idiotic story, the kung fu just doesn't cut it for me. I DETESTED the final fight scene because the protagonist (played by Jacky Wu) beat the living shit out of the antagonist without sustaining injury or even a hint of infliction (except maybe a few moments, I don't accurately recall this film). The final fight felt empty.

The fights are the only redeeming thing to come out of this asshole, but overall it smells like shit.

Formula story (foreigners smuggling opium) with some good choreography. Christy Chung is cute as always, and Jacky Wu Jing is a future superstar still finding his feet here.

Great action scenes. I loved it.

A decent debut from Wu Jing, but the film was more silly than good and that's what brought it down. Our hero looks like a 12 year old who's pretty good with wushu, and many of the fight scenes look like poor reenactments of "Once Upon A Time In China". A decent wire fu film but nothing memorable.

Wu Jing is a great talent. Movie seemed to have an inconsistent flow to it, but a solid pick.

The plot is a little cliche, however the fighting skills of Wu Jing totally make up for the story. The wirework in the final "battle royale" was not that great and I feel it sort of diminished what could have been a great final fight scene. With that aside I think it is a great movie and would recommend it. Wu Jing did a great job, even considering this was his first film.

Tai Chi Master staring Jet Li was great, and this is the sequel to it staring Jacky Wu. It did not disappoint me at all. Great action, storyline. 5 stars most definitely
