ABOUT THE CAST:
Mori Kishida

Renown for both his acting and writing skills, Mori Kishida was discovered by the famous Japanese director Kihachi Okamoto ("Sword Of Doom", "Samurai Assassin", "Red Lion"). A fan of fantasy and science fiction, the scenarios that he wrote for the genre were as much in demand as his acting skills.

Because of his highly distinctive appearance, Kishida spent most of his career being typecast. Because of this typecasting, the role he is probably most famous for was that of the "Japanese Dracula" in the two Toho films, "Lake Of Dracula" (1971) and "Evil Of Dracula" (1974). He is also known for his role of one of the three evil "Gods Of Death" in the "Lone Wolf And Cub" series of films.

Kishida passed away in 1982 from lung cancer.
