I hated it. But I think it is the kind of movie that you either love or hate. Way too much supernatural stuff, fantasy, and comedy to my taste. Ridiculous villains. Fighting on top of clouds and under the sea? Not my kind of Shaw movie! Some decent fights with Alex Fu Sheng (if you forget where they are taking place and who it is against). Overall, a total bust for me. But I understand that there is some kind of "cult" around this movie. It is really a matter of taste. If you like supernatural and fantasy martial arts, you'll probably enjoy it. I just didn't because I simply don't like supernatural and fantasy martial arts movies. |
