These are classics. The kicks are high enough to take down a bird in flight. Don't miss these.

Splendid movies. I just picked them up on a whim and was shocked. Very nice old school martial arts. The performers really delivered. The action also provided enough variety (across both movies) to maintain its entertainment value. These movies are well worth the cost no matter which versions you get.

If these movies were school reports they would say "could have done better". Worth a look at best.

NI'm not a huge fan of legwork, which these movies showcase, but Hwang Jang Lee's fighting absolutely impresses me. I do find these movies a bit dull between the fighting, but would give them 4/5 at least for the quality of choreography & performances.Mad Monkey

What can I say about these films?

Buy, Buy, Buy!!!! At all costs. Even if you are not a fan of John Liu or Wong Tao or Hwang Jang Lee, you will love these excellent kung fu films. Tommy Lee and Yuen Wo Ping direct the action, and it is one breathtaking scene to the next.

This is a poorly made and terribly acted 1970s era indie kung fu movie (first effort from Seasonal Pictures). It has an interesting story about rival factions and mixed allegiances, but the directorial style and carelessness of the editing and photography really mars the film, which remains quite interesting for some fantastic fight scenes, especially involving kicking and one of the characters’ use of nunchakus. Typical for 1970s kung fu movies, all the film music except for a heroic Chinese theme near the end is ripped off from Italian Westerns (Morricone’s BIG GUNDOWN, mostly).

terrible, you call that kung fu? I call that dunb fu. what a waste of my money. I think I was fooled by some peoples review. it's not even worth looking at it. for old school, only watch liu gar lang's film, cause that's good kung fu guranteed, but any one else, don't even bother!
